Fortunately, even if your weapons are taken from you, you will be able to recover them quickly.

Melee weapons, have limited durability - except Ellie’s switchbladewhich can be used, e.g.

Each melee weapon has a certain number of uses before it gets destroyed.

Fortunately, Ellie and Abby are able to use skills that allow them to repair a particular weapon once.

The best use for a bow is, of course, to kill opponents quietly from greater distances.

Remember to adjust the crosshair accordingly to the distance.

Get the Rangefinder upgrade for the bow to improve your aiming.

Initially, the only use for bombs is to stun enemies temporarily or expose them to attacks.

The first mine can be found in the Capitol Hill stage.

After that, Ellie will be able to produce more of them herself.

It’s a great gadget for killing dogs and strong infected, assuming you use it correctly.

Alternatively, you might use them to kill opponents you have grabbed faster.

It is best to look for weapons that have a large number of uses, i.e.

They are great for attacking groups of opponents who are unaware of Abby’s presence and do not move.

A pipe bomb explodes shortly after it lands on the ground.

We recommend getting the passive abilities that increase the range and effectiveness of bombs.
