InThe Witcher Monster Slayergame, parrying is a basic mechanic during combat.
you’ve got the option to parry by placing your finger on the screen.
Don’t move it, don’t spin it, just keep it pressed in one place.
This will make your character raise their sword and protect themselves from being hit.
This means that the monster is readying an attack.
However, it’s a good idea to act a bit earlier!
Even more so if you are using fast attacks.
It may take several seconds before the sword is placed in the proper position.
Always keep a close eye on your opponent during the game.
This will be the perfect time to parry.
You shouldn’t wait until the last moment.
How parrying affects critical hits
The critical hit meter will drop when you receive damage.
However, this will not happen if you parry your opponent’s blow.
